Message

It is the AEPC's endevour to promote exports of

apparel from India to Spain. I am happy to inform that the

Council is once again organizing Buyer-Seller Meet at

Barcelona and Madrid from 23 rd to 28th September 2010

with full support from Government of India.

India’s exports of apparel to Spain stands at USD

545Mn, an increase of 9% over previous year. We still

remain a relatively small supplier to this market, and hope

events such as these will help build up this business

rapidly.

India has enormous strengths in the value added

segments of the apparel business. Our participants are

showcasing wide range of garments suitable for the

Spanish market in the Buyer-Seller-Meet.

I welcome all the esteemed Spanish buyers to the BSM

and wish them a good business with Indian exhibitors.
