Semper fi and stay strong. transferring from MP to grunt was the best thing to ever happen to me. i should have gone infantry in the first place. thanks to sgtmaj Brown in the 3rd MAW, i ended up in a good place with the fighting fifth. i still remember the day i checked in and the supply clerk issued me the fourrage. unfortunately because of some mistakes and a piss poor command in the air wing, i was denied re-enlistment. not that i didn't get in trouble as a grunt either, but it was a good kind of trouble. honorably disharged as a PVT. 在楚来参加了2/5高尔夫球赛。谁能忘记山丘69. 06年6月底作为A / R的人。Praire的行动，Praire2，有没有Praire3？密西西比州行动。得到Trenchfoot，然后南到安和。难道真的没有那么着急吗？然后去Phu loc 6.那里没有桥那么...在那里？在1966年12月19日的左腿被射中了......多么圣诞节礼物的金色BB。有人告诉我，我是第一个在非军事区伏击夜的时候开枪的人......不会承认的。但20年后，我接受了这个事实。我想这与过线有关。军士。道森和我一样的伏击身亡。弗罗斯特在他的上臂皮肤下吹起了他的发射机制。消防队长...一些Lcpl。我不记得他的一条腿几乎被射死了。他在我身后。那天伏兵大概是第一班的一半。Dawson，Crumb，Daniel Day（朋友），Frost，Pierce，Thomas，Mad Dog Joe Madruga（好人）。其余的我都不记得了。

我真的很想，如果我可以联系一些老队伍。在很多方面，我在越南是一个傻瓜，我也很害怕，但是这也是我一生中最勇敢的。我会永远记得我是一名海军陆战队员。在战斗中......在我一生中很短的时间里，我作为一个非常危险的人走遍了地球。

在E，2/5在1956年和57作为一个步枪手和BAR男子。在我和E 2/5的时候，我们有一个Codispoti营的指挥官，他相信长时间的艰苦的军队游行。我总是记得那些军人会适用于我们的脚步。当我还记得我们的公司在回到玛格丽塔营后，是否会让指定的公司鼓手鼓从吉普车拖车上打鼓并鼓动我们回到公司地区时，我也笑了起来。

令人惊讶的是，我们中的很多人会因为起泡的脚而跛行，并且巧妙地回到公司区域。不能忘记在内华达州的沙漠岩石（我曾担任放射监测器）的原子弹测试。它确实让我们所有人都明白原子武器的使用是多么可怕。

我在1980年7月退出了第二师，但是总是很好的记得我第一次和E，2/5一起巡回演出。一个伟大的公司。我经常想知道曾经发生过什么事情的白俄罗斯人，他也是一个喜欢呆在水池里，而不是自由的BAR男人。他曾在韩国服役，是“冻结的选择”之一。
