奥斯汀美中商会注册于2013年3月7日，是为服务于德州中部地区和中国之间的经济、商贸合作而成立的非政治、非宗教、非盈利机构。目前，商会共有理事20多名，分别是金融、财务、房地产、餐饮、教育、公共关系等领域的专业人士或资深人士。商会下设财经、教育文化、房地产、进出口、养生保健、餐饮业合作等多个委员会。本着“架桥中美，服务社区”的宗旨，一方面，奥斯汀美中商会积极联系中美两国政府和企业，为两国的经贸交流牵线搭桥。同时，商会积极为社区服务，通过开展各种类型的活动，满足本地华人社区的需求。奥斯汀美中商会理事会对社会开放，欢迎各届人士加入，共同为中美交流、社区服务做出贡献。
